Chirp Research set out to explore the changing landscape of employment. The Gig Economy is on the rise and we wanted to understand the motivations, perceived benefits and drawbacks associated with non-traditional employment.
We asked over two hundred Side hustlers "What motivated you to start a side hustle?" Financial reasons were a top motivation for most, but other common themes included novelty, taking a chance with entrepreneurship, and pursuing a passion project.
